Russ and Sarah's Wedding
I have worked with Russ for three years now, at the Privett Academy. I quickly grew to respect Russ for his mathematical knowledge and skill at teaching the material. Over the course of the first year, I found that he was a pretty interesting person and a good friend. I didn't get to know Sarah until the second year of teaching, but it was really over the third academic year that I really began to appreciate them both as pretty significant friends. As I became closer with them, the importance of their wedding grew, and I slowly took on a few tasks in regards to the wedding. I provided two five gallon batches of beer for the weekend, and shot the entire weekends events, also providing the labor to finish the photography after the wedding. I also helped plan out and facilitate the bachelor party, as Ethan, the Best Man, lived in Colorado. While the advertised wedding activities were spread out over the Friday, Saturday and Sunday, family and friends had begun to drift in during the early part of the week. It was on the Thursday that I finally met their good friend Eva. Russ and Sarah had been trying to get us in the same place for several months, but our schedules seemed to be polar opposites. That evening, I also finally got to meet all of Russ' friends, who he had been talking about for the three years we had known each other. I didn't stay out that late, knowing that I had an epic day coming up: The Bachelor Party.
